ThufuLA: Jurnal Inovasi Pendidikan Guru Raudhatul Athfal provides immediate open access to its content, on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. All articles can be read, downloaded, copied, distributed, and printed free of charge, in line with the Budapest Open Access Initiative and the CC BY-SA 4.0 license.
First: Publication and Authorship
- All submitted papers are subject to a strict peer-review process by at least two reviewers who are experts in early childhood education or the specific area of the paper. Reviewers are selected by the Managing Editor and the Editor-in-Chief.
- The review considers relevance to the journal’s scope, originality, methodological rigor, contribution to early childhood education, readability, and language.
- Possible decisions are acceptance, minor revisions, major revisions, or rejection.
- If authors are invited to revise and resubmit, there is no guarantee that the revised submission will be accepted.
- Rejected articles will not be re-reviewed.
- Acceptance is subject to the legal requirements in force regarding libel, copyright infringement, and plagiarism.
Second: Authors’ Responsibilities
- Authors must certify that their manuscript is their original work.
- Authors must certify that the manuscript has not been published elsewhere and is not under review in another journal.
- Authors must take part in the peer review process and respond to reviewers’ comments.
- All authors listed must have contributed significantly to the research, and their contributions must be stated in the “Author Contributions” section of the article.
- Authors must state that all data in the paper are real and authentic.
- Authors must obtain ethical approval or institutional permission and informed consent from parents or legal guardians for research involving children.
- Authors must notify the editors of any conflicts of interest.
- Authors must identify all sources used in preparing their manuscripts.
- Authors must report to the editors any errors they discover in their published papers and cooperate in providing corrections or retractions.
- Authors may withdraw their manuscript during the review process only with a written request and a clear reason sent to the editors.
Third: Peer Review / Responsibilities of Reviewers
- Reviewers must keep all information about manuscripts confidential and treat it as privileged information.
- Reviews must be objective, with no personal criticism of the authors.
- Reviewers should express their views clearly, with supporting arguments.
- Reviewers may identify relevant published work that the authors have not cited.
- Reviewers should alert the Editor-in-Chief to any substantial similarity or overlap between the manuscript and any other published paper they know of.
- Reviewers must decline to review if they have a conflict of interest with the authors or the research.
Fourth: Editorial Responsibilities
- The editors (Managing Editor or Editor-in-Chief) have full responsibility and authority to accept or reject an article.
- Editors are responsible for the content and overall quality of the publication, and should consider the needs of both authors and readers.
- Editors must base their decisions solely on the paper’s importance, originality, clarity, and relevance to the journal’s scope.
- Editors must publish corrections or errata when needed, and guarantee the integrity of the academic record.
- Editors must not change a decision once made, or overturn the decisions of previous editors, without a serious reason.
- Editors must preserve the anonymity of reviewers.
- Editors must ensure that all published research follows internationally accepted ethical guidelines, particularly for research involving children.
- Editors must act on suspected misconduct, whether a paper is published or unpublished, but must not reject papers on suspicion alone without evidence.
- Editors must not allow conflicts of interest between staff, authors, reviewers, and board members, and must not handle manuscripts in which they have a personal interest.
